Influence & Inspiration: Lessons from the World’s Most Competitive Stage | LA Tech Week 2025

Elite athletes turned builders share practical playbooks for brand, trust, and growth that lasts.

Why this night

Some lessons you learn in a boardroom. Others you earn under lights, with the clock running and the world watching. This room is for people who turn pressure into clarity, and clarity into momentum.

Not another panel. A working conversation about brand under fire, reinvention after the buzzer, and building a legacy that lasts.

Featuring

Shaquem Griffin
Shaquem is a retired NFL linebacker for the Seattle Seahawks and a globally recognized barrier breaker. Today he is a motivational speaker, disability advocate, and author who co-founded the Y.O.U. Brand. He turns resilience into a system, showing teams how to build confidence under scrutiny and use purpose to drive outcomes.

Chris Copeland
Chris is a retired NBA forward known for his breakout with the New York Knicks, followed by years with the Pacers and Bucks, plus international play. He now leads Cope Collective, pairing brands with influencers, expert problem solvers, and event strategy to create growth. He built it from the network he earned on the court, proving you do not need massive funding to scale real value.

Doc God
Doc is a 27-time world champion bodybuilder and the first athlete from Anguilla to win a global title, profiled by ESPN and BBC. He is a filmmaker and creator developing bold, high stakes stories for screen and brand. Oxford trained in blockchain, he founded DVUE to protect digital identity and monetize content, and he continues to invent from Web3 to wildfire defense.

And also…

Ultimate Fighting Bots
This is the first robot combat league where humans pilot robots in real time from anywhere. It is a live arena where digital and physical competition meet. You will see it in action on the night.

Speaker lineup subject to change.

What we will cover

Pressure to precision
How elite performers strip out noise, make the next right move, and apply the same system to companies and capital.

Brand when it matters
Trust, relevance, and repeatability. What carries from the arena to the market, and how to operationalize it.

Second acts that stick
From athlete to owner. Identity, platform, and purpose, translated into teams and transactions.

Community, media, and momentum
How stories travel now, how creators amplify the signal, and where to invest your next unit of effort.

You will leave with practical language for brand and legacy, a cleaner decision framework under pressure, and a short list of moves to run next.
